accessing site with and without www.

I have encountered a problem that I've never had before!

I have activated system pages in C5 and allowed two (login and register) on the auto-nav block but when I access the page using www. it works fine. Without the www. the register link seems to be broken even though the login link works fine.

You can see it for yourself at:http://www.jukeclothing.co.uk

Any help you can offer would be hugely appreciated!

Many Thanks,
Ben

That is strange.

I would suggest turning ON pretty URLs and adding the info given in the dash to the .htaccess file. That should fix your problem and give basic seo benefits.

Also check your config file and see what is set for Base URL and DIR_REL

Hi Cursal,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have gone in and activated Pretty URLs. It automatically ammended the htaccess file.

However, adding to my question. I then logged into jukeclothing.co.uk (without www.) and checked the Pretty URLs and the change hadn't taken effect. It's almost like the two URLs are acting independently from one another.

This sounds as though it's becoming a hosting error. What do you think?

Many Thanks,
Ben

Me Again!!!

I've actually just found my answer... I went into the C5 settings panel and cleared cache. It has fixed the problem and all is working again.

Thanks for your help, PrettyURLs shall stay on. Didn't realise they aided SEO!
