Add-on Error. Point me in the right direction please

I am using an add-on for an e-commerce site (Securepay payment gateway). I have posted this question onto the support tab for the Add-on but have not received any reply yet in over a week and I am desperate as the problem is stopping my client's website from going live. I am using C5 version 5.5.2.1 for this site. On installing the Add-on I get an error saying that the CoreCommerceSecurepayPackage could not be converted to a string in ......libraries\3rdparty\adodb\adodb.inc.php on line 978.

Can someone point me in th e right direction to fix this so my client's site can go live.

Kind regards Ian Johnson

Developers of paid addons are required to respond to support requests in a timely fashion. If they're not, you should contact the Concrete5 folks directly to see if they can get in touch with the developer (and if not, they will give you a refund):

This sounds like a conflict in the add-on version with the eCommerce version. We had a similar support request for one of our add-ons (also a payment gateway for eCommerce) when the core team rolled out the new eCommerce version.

If you're willing to drop in few bucks for an hour of work, I'd be happy to help you out with this problem if you're in a hurry and cannot get in touch with the developer (who should fix this for you without additional cost).

If interested, just PM me for more details.
