Hello,

I'm looking for a solution of how I could make a block/area of my homepage expire automatically?

Example:

Please help me out!

Thanks in advanced.

Hi

Advanced Permissions should be able to do this for you at a block level.
If you had a block that could be viewed by Guest until a certain time/date then time it to switch to Administrator view only.

Probably a more elegant way of doing it but hopefully you get the idea.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Is there a way to set expiration permissions on block level in a global area?
To specify my case: I have a sidebar with a global area containing some blocks (e.g. a "news" block). Some of the blocks contain information about upcoming events, and it would be nice to automatically hide them when the event has passed. So I'd like to set an expiration day on that block.
As far as I can see, I may only set permissions on block level or expiration date options in normal but not global areas.
Can you help me on this?

cheers
Ritschy

PS: I'm using concrete5.7, advanced permissions already activated.
