Building a collapsible, editable div

I am trying to build a collapsible div on my homepage which will be triggered by a button/text which says 'Events'.
Obviously I need the div content to be easily editable by our secretary within the admin panel.
Can someone please offer a step-by-step for this?

This is pretty close but I need the content in the div to be editable through the admin panel and the div needs to be collapsed to start.
