Calendar Addon PHP Errors

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I already posted this under the Calender Support & Feature Requests section but thought I'd post it here too.

We just recompiled PHP on our server and now all our sites with the calendar addon are throwing these errors on any page the calendar block is on. Any ideas how to remedy this or what caused it?

I just experienced a similar error. Was this ever resolved?

What version are you using? (of the calendar addon) Please update it.

I'm trying to update to a calendar from 1.2.1 to 1.4.4. However when I try to download and install the latest version via my dashboard, I get:

"The following errors occurred when attempting to process your request:

There was an error unpacking your add-on or theme. Perhaps you have not uploaded a valid zip file, or you do not have zip installed."

What am I missing? Do I need to install a zip Add-on?

Usually that error happens when you don't have zip installed on your server. You can contact your host to have it installed.

OK so the host provider has the latest version of Zip installed but it still doesn't allow for the update.

What else can I do? If I recall correctly, I think someone from Concrete5 actually logged in to my account and manually made the change for me...possible to somehow do this again? Don't know what else to do...

Hey crsyu,
Can you please show me the contents of index.php/dashboard/system/environment/info/?

Best wishes,

I actually don't have the option for 'System' from the dashboard...Maintenance, Add Functionality, etc. but no 'System'.

Am I running an older version and could that be the problem?
