Check ok, fresh install, login, create group gives mysql error

Hi,
after a fresh install I've logged in and without touching the default settings, I've created a new group named:

Content_Editors

added a brief description, click on add button and:

An unexpected error occurred.
mysql error: [1048: Column 'gUserExpirationInterval' cannot be null] in EXECUTE("update Groups set gUserExpirationIsEnabled = 0, gUserExpirationMethod = null, gUserExpirationSetDateTime = null, gUserExpirationInterval = null, gUserExpirationAction = null where gID = '4'")

back button on the browser and the group was successfully created. All right, but... can I trust that everything is ok? I would go on production.

PHP Version 5.2.5
safe_mode off
Mysql Ver. 5.1

Any comments, please?

Good tips from you. Yes, I run it.
Just applied my patches and run.
Version 5.4? Not now and not for production. Come on...No, better an egg today than a chiken tomorrow.
That time, that version. The show must go on.
I prefer well-seasoned software, patched but well-seasoned.
Bye.
