Concrete5 & His Cache

Hi all,
As everybody knows, this page learn us more about cache feature of Concrete5 :http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/using-concrete5/dashboard/sy...
But I think it's no very explicit and that each option of cache settings must be explained more in details with their pros and cons (basic cache vs full page caching).
Does someone can tell us how cache system works with each options ?
