Hey Folks,

John here, C5 noob. I'd like to consider hiring someone to give me a dev primer so i don't go breaking my site anymore.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around having a local dev site and pushing it up to the live site - it's not like i do anything complex behind the scenes - at little css or php change here and there. I managed to break a site today doing something totally innocuous (just changing a file permission at the request of the C5 dashboard), and have spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how to recover - I could have rebuilt the site faster!

So, subversion, importing databases for previously broken sites, version control - this is what I wish for!

Would prefer someone with goto meeting or someone who can guide me over the phone.
