After updating to the newest version of concrete5, the tool bar at the top of the screen disappeared. Can someone provide some guidance?

Thanks!

Sometimes an old add-on that needs to be updated conflicts with your new version of C5.
Once signed in, try typing the dashboard address into the navigation ie yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard/ to get to the dashboard without using the edit bar shortcut. From there, you can click 'update" after the "Extend Concrete5" shortcut at the bottom left. There you'll be able to see what add-ons need updating.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem. After updating to the newest version of Concrete5, I don't have the tool bar across the top of the screen. When I log in there's a space for it, but nothing there. I typed in the url for the dashboard, but it shows up as all text. I tried clicking on the update add ons, but it doesn't do anything, just takes me to the strange dashboard page (see attached file). As far as I know we don't have any add ons installed, but I tried to see if there were any updates just to be sure.

Any help on how to restore the tool bar would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

It looks to me like you are missing some files in updates/concrete5.6.3.1_updater/concrete/
as the web pages and login screen for your web site is not finding some files using this path.
You should check that it contains all the core folders and files.

Down load your current version of C5 from here (5.6.3.1)
http://www.concrete5.org/developers/developer-downloads/...
Check that all of the files/folders that are in the folder "concrete" (core files) are on your server under /updates/concrete5.6.3.1_updater/concrete/
