I still battle with the navigation the dashboard provides (button total top on right).
If you click for example on "Files" it opens directly the first point "File manager". That's annoying at best, but becomes a problem when you have different users with different permissions about what they can see.
There must be a better way....? Anyone any idea how I could have on click on the Level 1 item show just all level 2 menu points instead of linking directly to the preset one?
Or at least how I could show directly all Level 2 points of a few selected items when the navigation is opened?

Just to clarify, are you having a problem with the Dashboard sidebar panel closing immediately after clicking the Files link.
