Editing Border still around blocks that user does not have Edit Access

In one of my current sites there is only a few users that need edit access only to a few blocks. Basicly what I have done is create an "Admin" page with subpages that they have Edit access to and then I alias content blocks on that page to show up on the actual page.

This works great but there is also a few content blocks on that page that they only have read access to. The problem is that 2 out of the 3 content blocs that they only have read access to still have the Red dots around them and allow the "Copy to Scrapbook" option.

It works perfectly for one block, but not the 2 following in the same area. I do not want them to be able to copy these blocks. Is this a bug?

All the content blocks were created the same and all 3 of the ones that they only have read access have the same permissions and are NOT apart of a current scrapbook.

Please advise.

Quick addition:
If all of the "non-editable" blocks are at the top they do not show the border, but if they alternate every one after the first non-edit shows the border ex below:

non-edit (doesn't show border)
editable (shows border)
non-edit(DOES show border)
editable (shows border)

non-edit (doesn't show border)
non-edit (doesn't show border)
editable (shows border)
editable (shows border)

Thanks

I hadn't seen this thread before (sorry about that). I'll test this out on my dev site. I have never aliased blocks before, so there might be a problem with that. It would also help to know what C5 version you're using.

On a side note, have you tried adding the blocks in the actual page instead of using aliases? Everything would still work the same way... And you could use the User's Pages add-on to allow Admins to see the pages they can edit, right from their profile.

Anyway, I'll do some testing and let you know...
