File download permissions by group

Hi,
I'm totally new to Concrete5 and all i discovered i love. With this knowledge i hope to convert some of my Joomla Sites to Concrete5.
One of my sites uses Group memberships to download newsletters. If you are not a member, you may not see or download the file.
Is this also possible in Concrete5 ??

1) Be sure at least your simple permissions are turned on.

2) Add a group in the dashboard
3)Add a page and set the permission on that page so only a certain group may see that page. (that will hide the link from all those not logged in and in that specific group)
4) Put any files you want them to download on that page using the content block and "add a file" link.
note: there are some download addon's in the marketplace that can help..I believe there has even been a "Subscription" addon added recently that may take care of most of your needs.
