File Manager Pagination now missing 8.1 - 8.5.3

I've updated a site from 8.1 to 8.5.3, and the File Manager pagination is missing for anyone other than the Superuser. So the admin only sees the results per page with 1 page listed in the pagination under the results.

Anyone seen anything like this?

That's the normal behaviour for users. As superuser you have the full rights for all images/files so a calculation and pagination is made.
As a user you might not have the right to see all the files due to permissions. So a calculation would slow down the page (if you have a large amount of files).
So the decision was to show no pagination.
One improvement in the last versions was, that you can specify how many files should be shown. I turn this to 50 or 100 so that its mostly better than jumping from page to page with ten images.

I see. Thank you for getting back to me. IMHO it's too bad to see the pagination go. It's handy to be able to see how many pages of files (groups of ten) you have at any given time.
