giving a user access to 1 fileset

Hello,
I have set up advanced permissions so that a group has access ( upload/Download - select ) to files that they have uploaded only but I would like one of them to be able to access the images I have in a set. Is this possible? I have of course searched for this but can't find the answer.

This how it is set-up right now
admin - me ( full access to pretty much everything)
Directors ( access to files that they have uploaded )

user1 ( Director ) - access to certain pages (blocks and uploader files - for editing )
user2 (Director ) access to other pages ( blocks for editing and uploader files)
user3 ( Director ) access just to view certain pages - no editing

I would like is to give user1 access to 1 fileset ( director photos ) - change - resize - upload etc. But I would like user2 to be able just to choose from the fileset but still have access to the files that user2 uploads.

Tried several ways but can't seem to get them working.
From my searches Fileset permissions info doesn't seem to be covered as much as other permission problems.

You need to go to the filset via dashboard/filesets and enable custom permissions for the fileset and then set the various permissions there, something like this...

View Files - Administrators Guest
Search Files in File Manager - Administrators user1 user2
Edit File Properties - Administrators user1
Edit File Contents - Administrators user1
Copy File - Administrators user1
Edit File Access - Administrators
Delete File Set - Administrators
Delete File - Administrators user1
Add File - Administrators user1

Unfortunately I still can't get it working - the user1 also has permissions for files that he uploaded. I was trying to give him access to one fileset only that he didn't upload and leave the rest alone - so he already has permission as file uploader.
Don't know if I am explaining it correctly. I have tried variation on this but I can't get it to work - It seems that once you set the permission for this user for File Uploader only - you can't let him access other filesets.

Don't know what's wrong - there was a lot of copying and pasting down the dashboard permissions just to set the file uploader permissions. I followed Andrew's video tutorial for that. He seemed to be apologizing how that is achieved ( so many steps ) that it probably will be included in the next update.

I'm guessing your using advanced permissions already.

have you looked at johnthefish addonhttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/front-end-file-uploader...

(a user dosen't need access to upload) there fore the user wont see the group after they upload if they have access to the file manager (im guessing they do)

*the file set permissions is pretty straight forward unless you are running into a bug (I've had issues when global permissions would rewrite a file set but when i deleted the file set and started over it worked)
