Google Analytics

(From a Beginner) Google Analytics has given me some code to put into my website to track website statistics. They give you this code once you sign up on the Google Analytics Website.

How can I add this code to the website?

I know there is also a $35 Addon solution available but was wondering if somebody has an answer for this alternative first.

Thanks

* I read it too fast and thought it was how to verify a site with google webmaster tools. The third answer is the one you want.

If you log in to your site and hover over the edit button, then select "Properties" from the drop down...you can then select the tab for Custom attributes and click on "Header Extra Content". That will show you a text box to paste the Google code into.

On the dashboard, you can paste the google code into system & settings > Tracking codes.

Concrete5 has a simple way to add Google Analytics code to your website.

1. Login to your dashboard
2. Click on System & Settings to access the sitewide settings menu.
3. Click on : SEO & Statistics >
4. Click on: Tracking Codes> (You will get the 2 options: 1-Header Tracking Codes 2- Footer Tracking Codes)
5. Paste your Google Analytics tracking code into the provided space "Tracking Code" at Header Tracking Codes and click save.
