how to restore to previous version? (before the error)

Will a restore to a working version help with this error that started last night?

Fatal error: Call to a member function overrideCollectionPermissions() on a non-object in /home1/protecl2/public_html/concrete/concrete/core/models/permission/assignments/area.php on line 33

site appears OK when editing but errors on exit
rest of the world gets the above error

So are you saying that you were ok until upgrading or after modifying a page or page permissions? I guess it's unclear what exactly changed and what you're hoping to "restore".
