i know html, css and javascript, can concrete help me?

Hi, i'm starting to try out concrete and have a few questions.

i came to concrete cause it was told to me that you can apply anything you created with html, css and javascript content manageable using concrete5, but while searching the documentation i got a little lost, couldnt find how to do it.

anyway, i'm used to designing fixed sites with html, css and js, so i would like to do it with my current (in planning), and then to use concrete5 to make-it content manageable, in a way that i can easily post images for portfolio(i'm a grphic designer), and can blog a little.

but since i got a little lost and am only beginning on concrete5 i would like a little help on how to do it (couldnt find it on the documentation) and even maybe some suggestions for add-on(preference for free ones at first).

the site will be responsable and with a blog section, so having social interactions will be a must, also i'm open to suggestions on how to do a easy portfolio management(probably with an add-on).

sorry if i asked for much, just trying a faster way to start using concrete, and also for possible grammar issues, english aint my mother language.

and thanks a lot to anyone that at least try to help me find my way in Concrete5 (it is actually the first CMS i'm trying to use, and my knowledge of php is poor).

Hi!

Converting regular html templates to C5 themes is very easy, you can learn the basics in this tuto:
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/designers/make-a-the...

To learn advanced stuff, I recommend you to read the documentation, the "Pages" section is very useful:
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/pages/overview/...

With these links you will be able to crate themes with a lot of page types (most common are full width, right sidebar, left sidebar and blog entry, but you can create whichever you want to).

Also you can get portfolio and gallery add-ons, just search here:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/...

If you don't like any of these, you can create your own.

Hope it helped,
Martí
