Image Alt Tags

Hi all!
Is there a place that i can update my image's Alt Tags? I know certain blocks have an option to enter this, but when i've used image slider etc, there is no option for this, so this means that there is no Alt Tags on these images. So in the file manager if I edit the "Title" / "Description" does this do the same thing?
I've tried googling but there seems to be no straight forward answer!

I'm actually not using Image Slider block on the site i'm building, but i wondered where i can add Alt Tags for the images i have uploaded to the site.

Often the alt tags are added by the block you use, try adding a block and check the source code to see if you have alt tags.
I can't see any option to add the alt tag, and nothing in the code that mentions it. I thought it could be done in file manager. Just seems silly when everything is guided by SEO and this isn't apparently possible :-/

Tags are rendered from a blocks view.php file. Which blocks are you trying to show alt tags with?
Which image slider?
