Layout Mess with IE

i just converted an html template to C5 5.5. I've tested it on firefox, chrome and safari, and it all works well. I just tested it on ie and the layout is completely fubared. i have no idea what's going one. Here's the link:

Can anyone give some insight on what is the issue? i really need this to work and not sure where to start.

NOTE: i should have mentioned that the template without c5 conversion works fine. You can see it here:

so any advice you can point me to is greatly appreciated.

thanks.

It looks great in Chrome, but I also see what you mean in IE (v8) (ugh).

Some things to look for:
- any IE conditional code in the CSS
- any IE conditional CSS files
- any IE conditional code in the javascript (menu maybe?)

Unless anything jumps out obvious, I suspect it will be a long trawl through all of the theme comparing style and JS code to lists of known IE incompatibilities.

Maybe you can find an online style compatibility checking site that will automate some of this checking for you.
