Mailchimp opt in on existing form

Hi,
I have had a request that my client wants to add in an opt in to mail chimp on an existing form, currently the form emails the website owner with the information but the request is that it also adds the sender to a mailchimp list, is this possible and how?
Currently the form is using the standard form block.
