Making a template of an existing page

I am new to concrete 5 so I am sure this is a simple page. Can I make a template of an existing page I have set up so that when I go to add a new sub page it is in the list of page types? Any ideas would be welcome. Just didn't know if I when I add a new subpage I have to create it to look like the other page or if there was a simpler way. Thanks!

Hi,

You can create page type for it.

Ex- Create page type called "inner page" and handle is inner_page .

Then create inner_page.php file in your theme.

Now you can choose this while adding pages.

Thanks

Hi,
If it fits your situation, it may be easier to just add all your "must haves" to an existing page type so that they are available ie. Dashboard > Pages & Themes > Page Types > Left Sidebar > Defaults... select edit, add features, save. In the case of adding an occasional page that you don't need the templated features, just delete them from that particular page (deleting is always faster than adding).
