Mapping a subdomain to a single page

Hello all

I am creating a charity site that takes donations, the process for which I'd like to sit on a subdomain (donate.myurl.com) because it looks nice and can be SSL'd unlike the rest of the site.

Is there a way to do this? I have the Domain Mapper addon but it gives me 500 Internal Error messages if I redirect donate.myurl.com to any page on the site. If it matters, I created the subdomain using cPanel.

I'd also like the subdomain to *map*, not redirect, so the user sees donate.myurl.com at all times when they're going through the donation process.

Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated :)

Hi,
As long as you're creating the sub-domain to handle the donation process, why not show it on your main site's navigation by creating an external link off the sitemap to it. Then it appears to be part of your site but is physically taking place on the donation site. Creating a manual link or menu back to the main site should also be pretty straight forward.
(I don't see needing to domain map this at all, but maybe I'm missing something?)

Thanks for your reply.

Apologies, I should have been clearer -- the donation process is part of my concrete5 site and does exist as a page there, I just want to be able to access it from donate.myurl.com (as well as, for example, myurl.com/donate).
