Plugin missing

I have been trying to install an add-on that I purchased here and have realized, thanks to the developer of the add-on,that there is a glitch on my website that won't allow for an automatic install. He suggested this be put out to the Concrete 5 community. How do i remedy this as i don't want to resort to using ftp to install.

Website is callaghanxcski.ca

Can you provide more information about the "glitch" that won't allow an add-on to be installed? Your site is a very old version.

Unfortunately I am not an experienced web developer so I only know that my site tells me I am connected to the Concrete 5 community but when I try to go to "my projects' page as instructed in order to install the add on i have purchased it says I am not connected?? I purchased a password protect add-on which should be able to be simply installed but I keep going in circles no matter how much support i find online. I only know for sure that I cannot do an automatic install because the plugin is missing?? If i give you login access can you help?
