Problem Downloading Addons 5.4.2

Anybody else having problems downloading/installing addons from the dashboard in 5.4.2?

I upgraded a brand new site (not even built yet) to 5.4.2 before working on it and was unable to add any items from the dashboard - whether they be free addons or after assigning a license that I currently owned. It gave me a "cannot download the package" error. Something with regards to line 85 of concrete/libraries/marketplace...

I was able to "downgrade" to 5.4.1.1 - install some of the addons I needed, and then "re-upgrade" to 5.4.2.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issues downloading add-ons. The one time I decide not to backup my DB. It's a dev site but I have the client on the way.... lol.

Hi,

I have different problems??

I have brand new site with brand new install of 5.4.2 and all works great, so far.

I can assign a license and download an add on, easy-peasy, as it should be.

But I UPDATED my own site yesterday and the update messed up my style sheet?

Now just tried to replicate your problem on my UPDATED site and I get these errors?

See attached, first image tells the story!

Second image shows downloaded add ons?

But when trying to install the same error as the first image?

don't you just love the bugs?

I'm having the same problem with my site! My stylesheet is messed up after upgrading to 4.2! It's weird - only like half of the classes / ids actually render, the other half don't show up at all.

(SIGH!) In spite of the 60+ bugs that were "fixed", there seems to be more bugs created!

Hey

I didn't have a problem unzipping it (thankfully!) it just wouldn't download. It DID show up in the "ready to install" section like yours.

I dropped the 5.4.1.1 "concrete" folder over the 5.4.2 - installed whatever addons I needed - and then replaced the 5.4.2 "concrete" folder as before. That worked.

The problem is I don't want to upgrade the rest of my sites unless this is going to work properly.

Andrew has just posted a fix for this with the bug report (http://www.concrete5.org/developers/bugs/5-4-2/unable-to-download-add-ons-in-5-4-2/#194886)

All seems to work now. I replaced this in the concrete/libraries/marketplace.php file (around line 85)
