Problems with file manager

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I cannot figure a workaround. Can only load 2M. But I require (in this instance)...8M.

Followed the forums and tried to enact php.ini solution. But my server was recently re-designed after some problems and nobody has any php configuration rights. Tried to change limits in HTA and also failed.

Service desk said I could use my FTP to my account. Fine. But I tracked down the file manager files and I cannot see how I am to move my video and my video player into concrete5 file manager. Anyone else solve this problem?!

To upload via ftp; You'll need to upload your files by ftp to 'public_html/files/incoming'.

If there isn't a file named 'incoming', then just create one.

Then go to the Concrete5 file manager>> upload multiple>> add from incoming.

Let me know if that helps.

Thank you, that was great new information. Unfortunately, I am close but not there.

My MP4 is in my incoming file. My MP4 icon, file size, etc. is in my Concrete5 multiple upload/incoming path.

When I click I get error message: "at least one file must be selected". There are two selection boxes: In the title bar (directly under "Add From Incoming Directory") there is a selection box. In the bottom there is a box next to "Remove files from incoming/directory". I get the error message in all combinations.

It seems to be that there ought to be a box to the left of the file name itself while the above box would be a default for "select all" as is common. But the file row has four columns and the first column is empty.

Any ideas?

OK. I checked my file access and found there was no MP4, so I included it and all is good! Thanks again!

I recently upgraded for new version on C5 and permissions got really messed up.
It also deactivated the following Add Ons:

'Advanced Guestbook Comment' is not working, 'Simple Blog Post' is not working, 'Popup Menu' is not working.

Please see attachment.

And here-http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/add-ons-do...

Please try not to repost the same question several times.

Hope it all works out for you!

Just to clarify what this means, we had the same issue that there was no check box next to the file in the multiple import, and it was because the extension of the file was not included in concrete5's allowed File Types.

To add, simple add the file extension to the Allowed File Types as follows
