Problems with permissions

I've recently launched a C5 site for a client. I've done this many times before, so am not new to this.

As I normally do, I have used permissions to restrict what they can see and edit in the Dashboard by setting up an Editors group, and adding the client user to that.

Normally, this works pretty well. But, this time, it is not working.

I have it set to let Editors both view and edit the Site map section (and all subpages within it), as well as the File Manager section. But, the Editor user gets the "You do not have access to the _____." error when going to these pages.

I've cleared the cache, and tried turning off the cache, with no luck.

Does anyone have any idea on why this may be happening? Anything I should try?

Thanks,
Colin

[EDIT] -- So, oddly, the Editor user can access both Attributes and
File Sets in the File Manager but not the main File Manager. Even though the permissions are set to allow them to see and edit this page.

Finally figured this out. Posting a reply to help others.

Turns out 5.5 added some extra permissions settings. If you go to System & Settings, there are 2 sections that need to be changed: File Manager Permissions and Task Permissions.

In both of these, add in your Editor user group, and then mark what permissions you want them to have.

I did this, and also made sure the correct permissions were set in the Site Map area. This solved the issue. My client is now able to access Site Map and File Manager just fine.
