RBS Worldpay Payment Block for C5 eCommerce

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Is there anyone here with an RBS Worldpay merchant account that would be willing to help me test a Worldpay Payment Block for C5 eCommerce.

The block was developed in anticipation of a job but the job never came off. The block is fully developed and integrates perfectly into eCommerce, but requires a merchant test account to continue with testing and further development. Since the test account comes as part of a full merchant account and since I can't justify paying for a full merchant account I was wondering if some kind soul with an RBS Merchant account would help with co-development and testing.

Regards

Jim

My client has a WorldPay account so I could ask them if it is OK to test on it? Will let you know.

That would be fantastic... it seems such a shame to let it die. It goes without saying that I would happily gift both yourself and your client the addon.

I think it's dead. You might want to post your request in the jobs forum.

No sorry... but if your customer is willing to allow me to use their RBS Worldpay sandbox login to continue development I will pass them a copy of the block for free..

Hi,

I can give you RBS login info for testing your block. But you will have to pass one copy for me. If you are interested then please let me give your email id so I can send login info.

Hi...

Sorry... I'm away from home for the next few months... In fact I'm not
even in the same hemisphere so although I really appreciate the offer, I'm
afraid I can't (currently) help.

Regards

Jim

Hi,
I am about to quote on a site - not sure which merchant bank account they have but if it is Worldpay, do you still need to test?
How much further development is required?
Thanks

Hi,

I would ne interested in this add-on, I have a customer that I am doing a quote for now who uses WorldPay.

Do you have a rough idea what the cost of the add-on will be?

Many thanks, Steve

Hi Ian,

Have you build this Worldpay add-on?

Actually we sacked the developer instead.

Looking at this thread maybe there is a jinx on WorldPay, I have a developer coming in on Wednesday to work on this module I would hope it will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Cheers

Did anyone ever get a WorldPay payment gateway working?

Hi John,

I have a package made for Worldpay. Its for their UK form based service. Its not a seamless checkout. If this is what you are looking for, ill try and dig out a copy for you.

Having never built a card payment interface, I don't know exactly what I am looking for. I just have a 5.4.2.2 site that would like to move to WorldPay from the basic eCommerce PayPal system, so anything similar to the default PayPal process, but to WorldPay, could be a solution.

Hi all,

Thanks for the add of the free package - I need a little help if anyone out there can. I tried to install it - got the package downloaded and added it to the Packages dir etc etc.

When I go throguh and add the addon I get an error

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WorldpayPackage could not be converted to string in /home6/snozelco/public_html/updates/concrete5.5.2.1/concrete/libraries/3rdparty/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 978

Has anyone seen this and can offer some advise?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gary

I get the same thing with no obvious reason why. I've been away from C5 for quite while and much has changed... hopefully someone will be able to assist you further.

The last line (line 21) of file controller.php in the top Worldpay folder seems to be causing this error. Try replacing ...

CoreCommercePaymentMethod::add('worldpay', t('WorldPay'), 0, $pkg);

with ...

CoreCommercePaymentMethod::add('worldpay', t('WorldPay'), 1, NULL, $pkg);

Hi,
is this now a working solution for WorldPay (with the amend shown here)? I was planning on setting up a subscription payment with FuturePay (WorldPay).
thanks,
Nicko

Hi atlantisdigital,

Thanks for your WorldPay package. It has helped a great deal. Would you have any problems if I were to put your package source code on to GitHub? I have made a couple of changes to it and would like to share them with people.
