I'm looking to create a searchable database of school programs that you can also browse by aspect. Here's a good example of one that has similar functionality as what we're looking to do:http://creec.edgateway.net/cs/creecp/search/creec_res...
I have some limited php/MySQL knowledge and could embark on trying to code this up myself but we use C5 for all our other project websites and I was wondering if there was an add-on out there that might help me not (clumsily) re-invent the wheel.
And ideas and recommendations are welcome.

I haven't used this addon so I'm not sure, but sounds like it might provide the functionality you want:
