Restaurant online ordering in c5?

Has anyone tried to build an online menu/ordering system for a restaurant in concrete5? I am trying to assess whether is it better to use an existing third party program or if it is something that could built into the website with a modified ecommerce setup. Can ecommerce do more than generate an email when an order is placed in terms of notification? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You will need someone at the other end to take the order!
You could organise a take-away or home delivery service, but not a table booking service.
Someone still needs to be at other end to take the order!!
C5 cannot automate a table for twenty @ eight with two who do not like cheese or meat!
How would you know what to cook and for how many?
Hotel rooms would work with a events - calendar type scenario.
Ordering food or booking a table would need human intervention, surely?
