RSS Content Absolute Path

Hi,
I'm trying to build an RSS page as suggested by Andrew in this post
http://andrewembler.com/posts/building-a-custom-rss-feed/...
But I'm having troubles with relative URL (like for images).
In the html output images have path "/url_to_image".
I'd like to make it like "http://mywebsite.com/url_to_image".

Is there a way to forse an Area to output it's content using only absolute paths?

This thread may solve your problem. Check out the modified Image block I provided there and let me know if it works for you :)

Thank you. I was hoping there was a "cleaner" solution.
I mean a way to say to blocks to Always output path in absolute way.

So I think i will customize the image block to output the full path in the RSS.
Not cleaner as I was thinking but at least it will work.

Thank you so much
