Scheduled Blog Posts Not Appearing on Blog Feed

When an Admin creates a blog post, sets the release time for a future date, the post is created, but does not appear in the blog list feed. In order for the article listing to show, the admin has to explicitly visit the page via the sitemap and load the page in a browser. Only then, does the listing appear.
