Site language specific lines/file (5.7.0.x)

For a theme I'm creating, I have multiple language lines. I have no idea though, where I need to place my own .po/.mo file, for this specific theme.

What I've done:

- Went to application/languages
- Created a "languages" folder
- Created a "site" folder (within "languages")
- Put in the nl_NL.mo and nl_NL.po (just in case) both in this site folder

Apparently this is only for the "old" internationlization package. How is this done with 5.7?

Does nobody know how to load a site specific language file? By default Concrete5 loads LC_MESSAGES/messages.mo, but I want a theme/site specific file. Let's say theme.mo. Where do I put it, how do I load it?

For sure somebody knows this, right? I've tried everything with the Localization class, but nothing works!

Thanks.
