Tables within tinyMCE

So i am trying to add the ability to insert tables through the tinyMCE editor and I cant get it to work...

I have got both of these lines within my toolbar code

plugins: "inlinepopups,spellchecker,safari,advlink,contextmenu,table",

theme_concrete_buttons2 : "bullist,numlist,|,outdent,indent,|,link,unlink,anchor,|,image,cleanup,code,|,tablecontrols",

and it is just showing deviders or something.. please check the image attached for what I mean.. does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi joshuabrand,
you don't need to do have a custom Toolbar to insert a table.
All you need is to switch from Basic to Advanced under Systems & Settings > Basics > Rich Text Editor.
See screenshot attached.
Hope that is what you are looking for.

I know about this but I need to use the custom setting so that I can cut out some of the other features of the toolbar....
