Test email 'Not Valid'

This doesn't make sense, I have two C5 V8.5.0 sites on the same server. Site 1 will send a test email to name@domain.co.uk but site 2 will not and claims the exact same email address is invalid, refusing to attempt to send

If I change site2 to send the test to my personal email instead of work then it arrives.

Obviously my work email is valid, it receives email every day and site1 sends a test just fine. Neither site domain is the destination (work) email domain.

Any clues?

Hello, how many test emails are you trying to send at once and what is the exact error message you're getting?

Far more stupid and prosaic than that a .co.uk vs .com issue (DOH!)

All the sites are .co.uk but company domain is .com... that's what happens when you do stuff at the end of the day with your brain frazzled!

Unsurprisingly it works fine with the CORRECT domain !!
