The PDF add-on does not give the ability to download the file as the 5.6 version does

The site I am developing uses PDF's quite a bit and the old site (v. 5.6) shows in the black area at the top, the ability to download or print the file. Have I missed something when installing the block?

Thank you for your suggestions...

Hello,

I think the black area you are describing with the possibility to download or print the PDF file is your browser's PDF bar (specifically Chrome browser) and not at all something Concrete5 related.

I am attaching a screenshot

Yup! That is what I'm not seeing when I view a PDF in v. 5.8 but do see in v. 5.6 -- both using Chrome.

On that page the PDF is not opened by the browser it is added as an object to the page and the PDF itself is just a link to the pdf added to the object. So the browser is not going to show you the PDF toolbar I think. But if you right click on the pdf you will see the first 2 menu items you get are download and print

Also if you look at the url added by the block it is
http://www.toddcary.com/gbrc_stucco/index.php/download_file/72/286?#zoom=85&scrollbar=0&toolbar=0&navpanes=0

Notice the toolbar=0 bit? it should be toolbar=1
