Hi all

I'm new to Concrete5 and I'm attempting to build a site in order to decide whether it's suitable for my project, a proof of concept if you will.

One requirement is a news feature with the ability to post news articles to the front page and have them archived and accessible on their own page.

The blog feature seems almost perfect for this, I've already renamed it and edited the page layouts so that a new page is a new "news entry" not blog post. (I still have the URL showing /blog though?)

I'm currently struggling to get new News posts to look like those included in the populated install of 5.7, whenever I create a new News Entry, the resulting page is blank. I've had a partial success by editing the Defaults for the News Entry page but this only pulls through the description from the page creation, no title, nav panes, images etc.

Can anyone offer any pointers? I'm at a dead end.
