Website crashed.... :o(

Please help, I have recently upgraded to 5.4.2.2 by following the C5 guidelines; i.e. replacing the original concrete file with the upgrade version then going to the url mysite upgrade and following instructions. The website seems to work fine apart from the Dashboard News and Events sections where if I try to save an amendment from 'easy news' or 'proevents' the folowing error occurs:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method IndexedSearch::reindexPage() in /home/portland/public_html/updates/concrete5.4.2.2/concrete/models/collection.php on line 172

I have cleared the cache and that made no difference, then I attempted to clean up the filing structure.... Alas, I lost access to the URL website; this now just shows a blank screen. Since then I have run a restore from the backup file that I made; that made no difference too.

Could anyone please advise on the best method to start afresh and re-load concrete5 by saving as much data that i can?

Many thanks

It sounds like you have a file structure problem. Your database is probably fine. Just leave it alone for now. I take it that you didn't do the upgrade through the dashboard?

What you probably need to do is replace the file structure to where it was before. Again please don't mess with your database right now. It's probably fine. What does your directory structure look like?

The structure seems fine, although for some reason my disk space usage is way over the 500MB mark. I noticed this as I was attempting to copy the 'public_html/updates/concrete5.4.2.2/concrete' files into the 'public_html/' directory. The usage should not be that high... my site normally operates at around 200Mb size....

Update to the memory; the volume is in the public_html file... I have been reducing the volume and have now recopied Concrete 5.4.4.2 to the 'public_html'

Still trying to work a solution... will not touch the database though :o)
