Wordpress in Concrete5 folder?
Hi everyone
I have a Concrete5 site located herehttp://www.mikas-emil.dk
Now I want to add a blog to the site - and have it located at mikas-emil.dk/blog.
However I want to use WordPress (danish version) as my blog tool.
Is there anyway I can upload Wordpress to the concrete folder in a folder called "blog" maybe - would that work?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for getting back to me - a bit to technical for me I'm afraid.. Could you be more specific? I haven't tried to upload wordpress to the installation of Concrete as I am afraid of wrecking something..
Would it be better to install WP elsewhere and then make some kind of "trick" to show the "right" URL in the adressline (mikas-emil.dk/blog)?

Well, I don't think you'll break it just by uploading it to a sub directory. As long as you don't override anything you should be fine.
The safest thing however is to use a subdomain blog.mikas-emil.dk in which case both sites could run separately.

Maybe that's what I would do! Then I can upload it anywhere on my server and point the subdomain blog.mikas-emil.dk to that?
Uploading it to that folder will work fine, you won't wreck your Concrete installation either.
thanks - but I am using pretty URLs - will there be problems there?
Probably, that's why I suggest you upload it, see if it works, if it doesn't disable pretty url's, enable them again and tell us.
I think you'll need to add something to htaccess unless you use a subdomain. We can help you with the htaccess but please try it first.

Have you tried to temporarily disable pretty urls in the concrete5 dashboard? If that helps to get /blog running correctly, you could add a new rule in the htaccess file to forward it to the correct site.
