Anybody know if there are issues setting up Concrete5 with 1and1? I'm getting a lot of PHP errors when I try setting it up. Haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet, but from what I can see, everything should be compatible.
In the UK their servers are usually ok and I have worked with many sites running on their shared hosting linux business plans.
The only technical problem I have had recently is an old version of linux zip with a text case bug that has been fixed in newer linux versions.
1&1 tech support is generally rubbish and slow. Their proprietary customer dashboard is not very useful once you start having more than a few files on a site, so be prepared to use the system command line.
