5.7 Not Completing Installation

I am having trouble completing the install for version 5.7. I make it all the way through and in the end I get a screen that looks like the attached image. If you go to the page it wants to start the install all over again and the same thing if you click the back button.

It almost but not quite finishes. I am pretty sure I am doing everything right and I know that my hosting account is set up correctly because I have another website with 5.7.x on it and running. Not sure what to do here...

Thanks for any help you have.

I am also having this problem, the install gets about 80% of the way through and then ends up with the blank image.

I have tried installing twice happened both times.

Thanks for any help.

In my case, I may have been the cause of my problems. I had a very old version of Concrete5 installed and tried to erase everything and start with a new install - the old website was obsolete anyhow. When I erased everything I may have done something to make it not possible to have a fresh install work properly, so I deleted the account this website goes on from my VPN hosting account and started with a fresh install of everything - including the base website setup and it all worked out fine. I never figured out what exactly the issue was, I just know that it works now.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried installing 3 times, deleting the previously installed tables from the database first, but it stops each time at the same point. I did briefly (2 days) have a install of concrete 5.6 in the same folder & database which was a auto install provided by my host. But I then deleted it.

Also the first time I tried to install 5.7 I got a error as soon as it started installing:

An exception occurred while executing 'SELECT DATABASE()': SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1226 User 'concrete2016' has exceeded the 'max_queries_per_hour' resource (current value: 50000).

My hosting provider then increased the queries limit and it started installing fine.

Problem solved, my host increased the PHP memory to 128MB and the installation completed. Previously the install was failing at 'Adding pages and content', so presumably when adding the images it was running out of memory.
