5.7 PHP Error trying to sign in

Permalink
Hi, I am a newbie and need some help please, I first installed 5.6. No problems. Played around with it and decided to install 5.7 this morning after reading the documentation.
When trying to sign in I get the following message:

PHP Startup: htscanner: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20100525 PHP compiled with module API=20090626 These options need to match

I have looked through the forum and found some answers but am not sure how to do the repairs/updates that were given. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Well... I updated my PHP and now I get the following when I click on login:

An unexpected error occurred.
Call to undefined method Concrete\Core\Page\View\PageView::disableEditing()

Am trying to research this now and see if I can find some help. In the meantime... if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

So I decided to uninstall and reinstall and can now sign in. Sorry I didn't have the chance to interact with anyone else but maybe next time.

I am also experiencing this problem. Maybe reviving this threat will bring about some new discussion.
