8.0.3 installation hangs on "beginning Installation" page

Enter all required info (SQL DB and server, admin pwd etc.) All folder permission are 755, but installation just hangs. I assume that it should not take 10 minutes, which is the longest I let it run.

after following the instructions on the C5 site twice, I opted, out of curiosity, to see if Softaculous would install it, and it did! Really no idea why the difference was.
I have a WHM account with Site5 (reseller).

I had the same problem, I overcame it by refreshing the browser page (chrome browser) using Alt & F5.
I then tried Firefox browser and the install worked perfectly?

Do you receive any errors during installation and have you checked your PHP error log?
Are you using a shared web host?
