8.4.4 receiving a Fileinfo Extension Enabled error

trying to install 8.4.4 and cannot get past the need for "Fileinfo Extension Enabled" error.
I'm currently hosted at Godaddy and their version of PLESK will not allow me to add modules or extension. Only allows some general high level modifications. i saw some similar issues posed on this form from 4-5 years ago and thought this should have been resolved.

1) Why does Concrete require Fileinfo Extension to be Enabled?
2) any help in changing this on the Godaddy PLESK would be helpful.
I've searched the file folders from root to website and cannot find a PHP.ini file or anthing close... anyone have a awesome solution to this ?

I have same issue on version 8.5.2. I'm suspecting my internet host has disabled fileinfo, but no proof. Is there a solution yet?

fileinfo renders pretty urls, I believe.
It seems to be a php extension. I had the same problem with a plesk install on Digital Ocean. I changed my web control panel to aapanel on DO and that allows easy addition of the PHP extension.
