Backup database

Hi,

I have tried to backup my website database but I keep receiving the following: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 18874368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4683733 bytes) in /hermes/walnaweb01a/b2562/pow.neerlandia/htdocs/C5/concrete/core/libraries/backup.php on line 19

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks.

The MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT of your website is too tiny, or the max execution time is too short... this is part of PHP configuration. Speak to the Serveradmin about that, he should be able to fix it.

Hi Cahueya,

Thanks for your reply. I am the administrator of the website and also have access to the Cpanel of the website, is this where I need to change the settings? or do I have to open a support ticket to get the hosting company to change this setting on their end? Thanks again for your help.

Hi Fan22,

I believe this is nothing that can be changed in cPanel (please correct me anybody if wrong).

The SystemAdmin can change this in the PHP config files, so if you open a support ticket and send him the error message he knows what to do.

All the best :)
