Can I reinstall C5.7.3.1 without losing all my pages?

I would like to reinstall C5.7.3.1 because until 2 weeks ago, I wasn't creating overrides but was hacking the core (I know, I know stupid, stupid).
I don't want to lose all the pages I created though.... Can this be done?

Your pages are in the database. So it should be possible to clean up the mess. It is not a matter of installing a new version. More a matter of getting /concrete folder back to its default content, and get your overwrite files moved into /application overwrite folders.
Note: Be sure to copy the entire site first and take a backup of the database (always a good idea).

Thanks for getting back.
So I guess I need to download a copy of C5.7.3.1, so I have the original files, and upload the concrete folder, overwriting what's already there?

If you want to keep the changes you made to the core files as a reference, rename your existing /concrete folder to something like /concrete_mine before uploading the new /concrete folder.
