Can't download new concrete5

I'm having a problem getting the new concrete5 downloaded. The download via the dashboard barely gets started before I get an error500 - see attachment below for details.

If you have FTP access, you could download the new version, and copy the /concrete folder of the unpacked zip file over the current /concrete folder on your website, using FTP. You should then be able to run the upgrade.
If you choose to go this route, would advise backup the existing concrete folder on your website and do a database backup first. And make sure you can auto upgrade from the version you have to the version you have downloaded too!
I know that doesn't help you with the 500 error, but it's another way to complete your update.
