For version 5.4.2.1 it was possible to upgrade on the fly.
But for version 5.4.2.2 there is no possibility ;(

What can i do? (please only post serious answers with detailed informations, or just something like "i have the same problem" ^^)

Hi Alex,

you will only get serious answers on this forum...

What would help, however, is if you could give a little more detail.
You say 'for version 5.4.2.2 there is no possibility'. But there is. Can you explain what you mean by this? Are you trying to upgrade, but getting an error? If so, what is the error? Or are you not able to find the link to upgrade?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi!

Thank you for your reply.

I used to upgrade within my installation through the notification(-link).

Like from older version to 5.4.2.1

But for version 5.4.2.2 there is/was no notification within my concrete5 dashboard.

Normaly there are two possibilities to upgrade:
- Instand upgrade within/throught own concrete5 installation
- Download new version and do other steps (....)

I would like to do the first thing, but i can't.
I'm not able to upgrade within my installation from 5.4.2.1 to 5.4.2.2

So, maybe you could help me, if i wrote my problem detailed.

Greetings Alex

I get the same problem, its the ability to use the automatic update option on the site.

Under System and Maintenance -> Update
All available updates have been either downloaded or applied.

When you go to the upgrade screen with 4.2.1 you are told you have the latest version.

I do not know if it is possible to force an automatic upgrade

(I do not know if this is possible as it will not run the update script but..)
You may be able to manually update the site by uploading the concrete5.4.2.2 to your updates folder

and then adding to the following to the bottom of your config file,
<?php define('DIRNAME_APP_UPDATED', 'concrete5.4.2.2');?>

I would not worry about it to much though at some point this month? maybe early next month 5.5 is coming.

My understanding is 5.4.2.2 is just a minor update with some bug fixes

About to upgrade a site to 5.5 latest from 5.4.2.1 but I can't. On the dashboard update page it just says:

All available updates have been either downloaded or applied.

Which is definitely not the case as it knows it's V5.4.2.1. When I copied the site to a test domain to dry-run the upgrade it was happy to connect and download 5.4.2.2 then 5.5.

No such luck with the actual live site, however.
