Cannot Load a Theme

I am in the process of updating my site to Concrete 8.2.1.
Installation of the Concrete 5 application went fine and I am able to access and use the editor.
However, I am trying to install the Brimstone theme on the site and the Theme panel does not display it as an option.
In fact, the only theme I see in the panel is Elemental. Greek Yogurt is not displayed either, even though the components are located in the [root]concrete/themes folder.
I did create a folder located at [root]themes and installed the Brimstone package there. However, the Brimstone theme is still not displaying as an option on the Themes panel in Concrete 5.
Any assistance that can be provided would be appreciated.

Put your Brimstone Package in the root/application/packages folder and install it through the extend concrete interface, then look in your themes panel..
typo above, should be [root]/packages.
