Can't install add-ons after downgrade to 5.5.2.1

I tried upgrading to both 5.6.0.1 and 5.6.0.2, but found they were incompatible with my site, so I "downgraded" my site to 5.5.2.1. Now when I try to install an add-on, (this particular time, it was Redirect), I get a MySQL error and in this case, I am not able to use the block.

Screenshot with error is attached.

Thank you for any help?

It looks like your core files are 5.6 but your database is 5.5.

Tell me the steps you took when you 'downgraded'.

Thanks for the reply!

I changed the version in site.php back to 5.5.2.1. (Screenshot attached.) I read that restoring the database was only needed in "dire" circumstances. Perhaps this is one, but at this point I would rather have the core files be 5.5, instead, until the time that I can successfully upgrade.

Is there a 5.5.2.1 folder inside your root/updates folder?

Also, when you say you upgraded 'but found they were incompatible with your site', what was the error message you were getting.

Yes, I do have a 5.5.2.1 folder.

I didn't get any particular error messages, but there was one crucial image that was not showing up, (although the HTML and CSS were coded just how they were for other images on the site), and after fighting with it for awhile, I decided to downgrade.

NOW if I try to upgrade again and go to my homepage, it puts it back in the default Concrete5 template, even though Maintenance Mode is off. This happens even if I try to upgrade incrementally. (From 5.5.2.1 to 5.6.0.1 and then to 5.6.0.2) However, when I point the upgrade path in site.php to 5.5.2.1, all is well again.
