Cant update or download 5.7

Hey, Not sure if I have gone wrong in set up but I cant download or install ad-ons or the new update for 5.7
When I try to update I get:
The directory E:\WebSites\ForceSpecialEffects v.7.4.1/updates/ already exists. Perhaps this item has already been installed.
When I try to downdload a theme or plug in I get this:
The directory E:\WebSites\ForceSpecialEffects v.7.4.1/packages/ already exists. Perhaps this item has already been installed.
Any quick fixes just wondering if I havent given permission on the server somewhere?
